I am not 100% sure, but I think these are pieces that fell from the Sedum rupestre 'Angelina' that lives in a planter box above the moss. I seem to recall looking it up once to see if its seed was viable but in my mind I think that it isn't. As for the bloom, it too is from the same plant, but it was down on the walkway.
