3. This is a very new Rhododendron. It was developed by a nursery here in Oregon. It is the darkest bloom they've been able to develop so far. I am thrilled to see it bloom!

4. With your photos, I can almost feel the leathery leaves of the rhododendron. This one is gorgeous.
